Urology specialists in the northern part of the Ibaraki prefecture are few and far between, which is why I decided to establish the Ishikawa Clinic. Since we opened the practice in 2011, I’m pleased to say we have helped treat over 12,000 patients.

I feel that having access to trusted medical advice is very important for the growing local foreign community, which is why consultation is also available in English. Primarily our practice offers specialist urology care, ranging from bladder complaints, through to STD screening and treatment. However, a large number of our patients visit us for diagnosis of general illnesses, such as influenza and hypertension. Whatever your medical issue, you can rest assured that you will receive first-rate care with us, in language you fully understand.

Both I and the staff feel the Ishikawa Clinic is more than just a medical practice, it is part of the local community. We publish a regular newsletter for our patients, as well as holding music concerts once a month in the hospital waiting room. The concerts are free of charge, so please keep an eye out for announcements about the next event and join us if you are interested.
